Shelvio turns your photos and voice notes into finished listings using Google's AI. This page explains what gets sent, what we keep, and the control you have.
Your content is used to help you, and nothing else
Used only to make your listing
Your photos and voice are used to write the title, description, category, and price. Google acts only as a processor and does not use your content to train its AI models.
Voice notes are deleted
Once your listing is generated, we delete the voice recording from our servers. We keep only the text transcript alongside your listing.
You decide, and can change your mind
We ask for your consent before anything is sent. You can turn AI processing off anytime in Settings, and turn it back on whenever you like.
What happens when you create a listing
You give consent
Before anything leaves your phone, Shelvio asks you to agree to send your photos and voice notes to Google's AI. Generation only happens after you say yes.
Your content is processed
Your photos and voice notes are sent to Google's AI, which writes the listing and transcribes your voice. Google processes them on our behalf and does not train on them.
You get your listing
The finished draft appears in the app. The voice recording is deleted from our servers, and the transcript is kept with your listing so you can review and edit it.
What we send, keep, and delete
Sent to Google's AI: the product photos and voice notes for the item you're listing, plus any details you add. They are used to generate the listing and to transcribe your voice.
Kept by Shelvio: your photos and the generated listing stay with your account so you can use and edit them, until you delete the listing or your account.
Deleted: the voice recording, which we remove from our servers after the listing is generated. We keep only the transcript.

No. Your photos, voice, and listings are used only to generate your drafts. Google, our AI provider, acts as a processor and is not permitted to use your content to train its models.
We currently use Google's AI. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent again before sending your content anywhere new.

Yes, anytime in Settings under AI & Data. Shelvio generates listings with AI, so turning it off means new listings cannot be generated until you turn it back on. Your existing listings are not affected.
